Thank you so much for all the sweet Anniversary comments and emails! Some of you suggested that I go out and buy myself a little something and I was happy to oblige! I had a meeting yesterday morning that was conveniently close to the flea market where I bought myself a few treasures all of which cost less than the costume jewelry at J.Crew or Banana Republic. Times flies when you're having fun! Today marks my three year blog anniversary! I had no idea what I was doing when I started and I certainly had no idea of all the amazing things that it would lead to and all the amazing people I would meet along the way. I created my blog as a place to post all the things that were inspiring me in design, fashion, photography, art, and New York and it turned out that others were interested in them too. I want to thank everyone who reads my blog everyday. Your support and encouragement is definitely what keeps me excited about sharing my finds day after day! I was at House Beautiful party at Knollwood Antiques Thursday night and quite a few people asked me when I began my blog. Funny enough I told them, my two year blog anniversary was the next day! (I had planned to write about this yesterday but my computer had other ideas. I think a new laptop will be my anniversary gift to myself!) Sometimes it seems like I have been blogging for 10 years and others times it feels like started just yesterday! I had no idea what I was getting into when I began and I definitely had no idea what it would turn into but I am so glad that created Habitually Chic! I really enjoying writing it and I always say that the best part has been all the wonderful people I have met! It's a lot of work but it's also great fun but the encouragement and support I receive from all of you is what keeps me going! Now I look forward to seeing what the future holds! Thanks again to everyone who stops by everyday! I'll be having a piece of cake in your honor!
I was going to wish just my parents a happy anniversary on Friday but then I realized that I forgot to wish my blog a happy one year anniversary! I created my blog on July 10, 2007 as an outlet for all my pent up creative juices and had no idea what amazing people and opportunities it would lead me to. Thanks to all my wonderful readers, fans and friends for making it a fun and exciting year! Here's to you!
